Welcome To Pawsitive!
Pawsitive Canine Training Center L.L.C. is a positive-based, family friendly dog training facility owned by Liz and her furries located in Lowell, Michigan (east of Grand Rapids & Ada/Cascade, west of Lansing, north of Hastings and south of Rockford, MI).
Pawsitive Canine offers many classes year round, including AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Obedience, Basic Obedience, Intermediate Obedience, AKC Canine Good Citizen-Advance
Obedience, Rally Intro, Rally Advanced & Agility Foundation and Intro to Dog Sports. During the Spring/Summer months we offer, Beginning Agility, Advanced Beginning Agility, Intermediate and Advanced Agility.
Dog members of Pawsitive compete in Agility, Obedience, and Rally. Many are AKC Canine Good Citizens and/or are therapy dogs for West Michigan Therapy Dogs and/or a Pet Partner Member (a.k.a. Delta Society).
Our Services
Basic Training
We offer positive, rewards-based training programs tailored to help you develop your pet into a well-mannered companion. Training can begin with A.K.C.-S.T.A.R. Puppy Obedience and Basic Obedience. Our instructors are qualified to award AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy
and AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificates (which the CGC is now a title through the American Kennel Club). Yes, if either one or both of these are obtained, you can brag about your pooch has an official, TITLE!!
Intermediate & Advanced Obedience
If you are interested in training beyond our PUPPY & BASICS classes, we offer an Intermediate obedience class that is the stepping stone to the next class of Advanced Obedience AKC Canine Good Citizen. Refer to our class description for class details.
Sport and Performance
Whether you have a competitive spirit or are just looking for something fun to try with your dog, Pawsitive Canine has plenty of options. Agility, Rally and Intro to Dog Sports are some of the performance events our students enjoy. We even offer 'Agility Foundation' for those who wish to get an early start on introducing obstacles. This class is great for dogs of all ages that are looking for a fun change up from our structured training classes.
